| Upcoming Events Go Back A TOWN HALL MEETING ON THE COMMUNITY CENTER PROJECT
Sunday, February 24, 2008 (2:00pm – 6:00pm) 1924 Cedar Street (at Bonita Avenue), Berkeley All community members are invited to a special town hall meeting on Sunday, February 24 at 2pm at the Cedar Bonita Church in Berkeley. The project team working on the Community Center Project will present an update on the project. We have several exciting updates to share with the community. The event will include: the screening of a promotional video on the project; a panelist of community leaders discussing the project and its importance; breakout sessions to discuss and solicit feedback from community members on the size, location, and future administration of the community center; and specific programs need for children, youth, adults and elders. This is a wonderful opportunity to ask questions and share your thoughts and concerns about the community center and community programs. We hope you will take time off from your busy schedules and attend this important gathering. We’d like to make a major push this year towards our goal of having our own community center with an excellent initial set of programs and services.
