ANNOUNCING THE 2008 BETSY GORDON FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

2008 BETSY GORDON FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

Tibetan students residing in Northern California and attending colleges and vocational training schools in Northern California or out of state are invited to apply for scholarships from the 2008 Betsy Gordon Foundation Scholarship.

Scholarship Purpose:

The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to young Tibetans in Northern California seeking to advance their knowledge and prepare for a career. The scholarship seeks to empower young Tibetans to attain their professional and personal goals.  By investing in younger people, the program seeks to ensure the long term success and well-being of the Bay Area Tibetan community. 

Scholarships will be offered in the following four areas:

• Undergraduate College Education
• Vocational Training School
• Community College Students
• Graduate and Post-Graduate Studies

Completed applications must be returned or postmarked by Saturday, May 31, 2008
